The purpose of this Assignment is to provide recommendations to stakeholders to improve health care outcomes of a target population.
This week, you will revisit the analysis of the systems level problem identified in Unit 7 and the target population selected in Unit 8. Contemplate these questions:
Who are your stakeholders?
What recommendations do you have for them and how will you communicate with them?
Target population will be ICU patients, and the topic will be prevention of HAPU’s on ICU patients.
For this Assignment you will create PowerPoint presentation:
containing 5 slides (use the notes pages to clarify your ideas); excluiding cover and reference slides
supported with a minimum of five scholarly, peer review sources external to those assigned in class for this unit; no older than 5 years old
follow the conventions of Standard American English (correct grammar, punctuation, etc.);
well ordered, logical, and unified, as well as original and insightful;
display superior content, organization, style, and mechanics; and;
use APA 6th edition format.
Content for this presentation must include:
description of why you selected this inquiry;
description of the target population relative to the initiative;
description of the relevant stakeholders (who influences and is influenced by the program);
discussion regarding how evidence was translated into practice;
description of locations where you gather the supporting evidence;
strategy for implementation of the initiative;
discussion regarding potential outcomes?
evaluation strategy for the initiative; and
description of the best strategies to disseminate the results.
