Use the readings assigned this week to identify and discuss evidence-based practices (EBP) and strategies to guide health promotion and disease prevention with the use of CAM. In your discussion, consider the following:
Identify three examples from the professional literature or the Internet that illustrate how EBP is used in health promotion and disease prevention using CAM therapies.
Do you think there is adequate evidence to support CAM therapies in health promotion or disease prevention?
Do you think the evidence is reliable? Why or why not?
Why is it important to have evidence for CAM therapies?
