This Sunday, each of you will need to turn in a one page overview of the topic that you have chosen for your policy analysis. The best way to go about this is to pick a topic that is of interest to you. Make it fun. This assignment is meant to facilitate your learning. I’m not here to criticize your ideas or your personal politics, this one page overview will let me know that you’ve chosen a topic and will also allow me to assist you in the brainstorming process.
This overview should introduce the policy problem and illustrate how and where relevant information will be collected. Bullet points are fine. I just want to see that you have given your idea some thought. Students who do not turn in an overview by the deadline will lose 5 points from their final project grade. Again, bullet points are perfectly fine. This shouldn’t take more than 1 hour to complete.
